About me


Moneé Stamp is a second generation West Indian immigrant born and raised in Long Island, New York. She received her BFA in Production Design from Savannah College of Art and Design with a minor in Themed Entertainment and her MFA from Ohio University in Lighting Design.Moneé began her career as a painter before being exposed to a different kind of canvas, the stage and became a lighting designer.As a Black woman she has been impacted by race and the role it plays in the Theater. This has had a great influence on her work in the theatre and in Fine Arts. Moneé’s goal is to light BIPOC in ways that enhance their features not take away and create illustrations and paintings that uplift the black community.Moneé is a traveling Designer currently based in NY.
